Header - The Lowestoft Model

The Lowestoft Model has been achieved following hard work from the three high schools to develop the concept of co-operation between the schools of the town to  change historical culture of competition.

The purpose of this is quite simple to enhance the provision of an excellent education for all students to create more enterprising and aspirant young people for the well-being of the town's culture and economy.

Tired of being viewed as 'an economic black hole' and somewhere for young people with particular gifts, talents and aspirations to escape from, the schools wish to highlight the positives with, and for their communities. This has been a long established wish, first 'incarnated' in the Caring for Education programme and now developed into a co-operative programme that involves the educational institutions and many businesses in the town and surrounding Waveney District.
